It is finally time for spring to spring. I'm ready and I know that most of you are too! And now Edna brings to you the first holiday that we celebrate after the spring equinox, Easter.
To me spring means taking the red wrapped Valentine's Day candy off the shelves and replacing it with pastel hued Easter treats which will be accompanied by confectionary bunnies. Enjoy this springy time of themed candy, for Halloween is six months away!
Edna is looking like she is getting into the season with her bunny ears, bringing us the newest challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers: E is for Easter. I think pink bunny Peeps are her favorite. I bet she even eats the ears off first.
I always think of the Easter Bunny when I think of Easter. I even drew this bunny for the challenge. I put her on an inked and stenciled book page. After I painted the bunny, I used a Thinlits die on either side of the image, and then I finally stitched the book page to a square of patterned paper. Then I added the "Hoppy Spring"sentiment, but I do not recall where it's from.
Sadly, this card contains no snark.
Happy Easter everyone! You have until 3 April 2355 CDT to enter this challenge, where you could become the next Queen of Snark and our new Guest Designer.
Please visit the blogs of my fellow Snarky Sisters and our talented Snarky Princess guest designers, Majo and Creepy Glowbugg to see all the bunnies.
