Here's what I did. I used the Main Ingredients: Corned Beef, Green Cabbage and Pint o' Guinness as color inspiration. For my Utensils I used Wee photos, stayed predominately green, placed a heart charm, and used the peony mask from Prima with modeling paste and green acrylic paint. I also stamped the background and the flowers with embossing ink and used gold metallic embossing powder. For Lace, I laced plain brown ribbon through my punched paper because I thought the punched paper looked lacy enough.
How about the journaling? Well, I used the words "lucky" and "family." I feel very lucky when I think about my family, however, I don't tend to write very much about them when I know that I will be posting on my blog. I know that I would embarrass myself, kids or husband.
The flowers are from the Tim Holtz Sizzix die, Tattered Flowers. Which there is a contest on over at his blog, and it is open until March 22nd. I made my flowers with stamped and embossed paper, green mesh fabric, and muslin fabric that I used fabric stiffener on, followed by gold Glimmer Mist.
