Day 5 of 31 Days of Halloween

Here is something different from me today. I put together a graveyard scene in an Altoids tin. I probably have ten Altoids tins floating around my house that I have "been meaning to do something with." I dug one out and here it is:

I stamped the moon and layered it with embossing powder which made it shiny and hard to photograph. The praying skeleton was stamped and embossed in white on white card stock.  I then used a black spray mist to define the skeleton's shape.

I'd like to thank all of the Horrifying Hoppers and friends for your lovely comments on my ATC Halloween Crazy Birds.  They were fun to make and I am glad that you also enjoyed them.

If you are following Smeared Ink's 31 Days of Halloween blog hop, the side bar contains the blog roll. I am listed as "Lee" which might be good info to know if you get lost. Thanks for coming by and I will see you tomorrow!

The tins would make a great base for a project.
Just embellish the insides and you can stand it wherever you want.
thanks for the idea.

Love your tin...I know what you mean when you have several tins waiting for embellishment - I have a draw of 'items' suitable for altering...

OOOh, Lee! Fabulously spooky scene! Loving the stamps and the black cheesecloth adds the perfect creepy texture. I need to pull out one of my bazillion saved tins and actually make something. You've inspired me. xxD
