Z is for Zoo

My blog looks like I haven't been very busy.  I swear that I have been busy though!  I had meant to write this post and schedule it for this morning.  Good intentions and all that...

Alas, it is snark free. I did try to channel my inner Tim Holtz on this card.

My animal is a zebra.  I had some zebra print brads, which were black and white, but I used a Staz-On ink pad to make them black and brown.  I don't like using bright white embellishments when my card doesn't have any other white.

The zebra stamp is from Sin City Stamps and the sentiment stamp is an old Tim Holtz stamp that I have had forever.

Thanks for stopping by and happy travels!

Please stop by and visit my Snarky Sisters (list to the right)  and our reigning queen, Darnell, who is our Guest Designer this challenge.

Well, then, that's all right, isn't it? I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to combine your inner Timmy with your inner snark. That's prolly frowned on. But your card would not be! Timmy would love this card very much and so do I! Hugs, Darnell

You don't need to channel Tim -- your inner Lee is just fine! This is an awesome card... and when it's awesome, snark can be optional. ;)
(Of course you've been busy, you're a Sister!)

The framework around that image looks so fine! I love the striped dsp working the background too, and who knew you could alter the color of brads so easily! (slapping forehead) NJ!

This is so very awesome! Those printed brads are so cool, and just perfect for the whole card :)

Awesome card! I love the stripes in the background. They really add emphasis on the zebra even though they are not zebra stripes! You did good channeling your inner Tim!
