He Was Away Often

Drunken Stampers Challenge 148 has rolled out with the theme of "workplace."
I chose pilot as I am married to one and speak from experience.

 Inside of card:

The stamps on my card were done in River City Rubber Works except for the compass, which is an old Stampendous one.  The images were stamped on white CS with Dove Gray Staz-On and colored with Copics.  The background and compass were done in Distress Inks.  I used Salty Ocean, Broken China, and Tumbled glass.  The clouds are chippies from UmWowStudio.

Join us at Drunken Stampers and you could be chosen as our Life of the Party for this challenge!  Upload your entry by Friday, November 8th at 11:59p.m. PST.

Fabulous card, love the retro feel of it and the sentiment on the inside is fabulous. My hubby thinks the same, we enjoy each other's company but it's great to have time apart too. Awesome take on the challenge.

LOVE this! Awesome image of the people and love the clouds and plane. Adore your sentiment-- it was my dream to marry a pilot in my high school where will you be in 5 years--- for that exact reason-- they go way for a while! LOL LOL you are living my dream!!!!!

I love my Sakura clear glaze pen-- i ordered it by mistake a few years ago- I thought it was glittery-- but it was one of my best mistakes--- I love that it can be like glossy accents- but dries super fast! Hey- my sister complains that I do not cut cheese in perfect cubes to go with pepperoni and crackers...she is a hoot with what she can do better than me!!!! I love dissing her on my blog-- she doesn't always see it- so that makes it even funnier to me!
